instagramers LONDON

Founded on 24 March 2011, Instagramers London forms part of the global Instagramers.com network of mobile photography communities using the Instagram app. We plan meetups and organise events, providing the London mobile photography community with opportunities to meet each other and take and share great photographs.

iconiclondon2012: Brace yourself for @millwallben @iLondon2012 exhibit http://iconiclondon2012.com/ #ilondon2012 @millwallben originally started using Instagram to capture the people and streets around his beloved South London football club, Millwall FC. His passion for street photography led him to expand his focus to London as a whole, and he now specialises in street photography. He took part in the first London Instagram exhibition, MyWorldShared, in 2011. Ben says: “My style is anything goes, as long as it has attitude, grit and drama.” After his success with mobile photography he set up benspencerphotography.com, a photography blog where he shares the stories behind his best photographs from Instagram and his other great passion DSLR landscape photography. He is now a semi-professional photographer and lists his work on FineArtAmerica.com and photographic stock sites around the world. Ben now lives in Essex with his other half and a Ford Puma called Bob. He currently works three part-time jobs to fund his transition into full time photography, which he hopes to make in early 2014.
