instagramers LONDON

Founded on 24 March 2011, Instagramers London forms part of the global Instagramers.com network of mobile photography communities using the Instagram app. We plan meetups and organise events, providing the London mobile photography community with opportunities to meet each other and take and share great photographs.

iconiclondon2012: Next feature for the @iLondon2012 exhibit is @rugfoot http://iconiclondon2012.com/ #ilondon2012 @rugfoot is a zealous and eclectic mobile photographer and has “appsperimented” in a wide range of different styles and subjects including street, portraiture, architecture and abstract. He teaches mobile photography at KCC and The Photographers Gallery, has given many talks about the subject and writes about it at iphoggy.com and for various publications, including The Guardian and the AppWhisperer. He is a member of the Juxt mobile photography collective. He is also a professional music photographer. Richard says: “It’s such a hyperventilatingly exciting time to be doing iphoneography. The iPhone reaches the places other cameras cannot reach and it’s amazing how much creativity it has unleashed in so many people”. Go check out @rugfoot and come along to the Truman Brewery in December to check out the works of 30 London-based mobile photographers. #igerslondon @igerslondon
