instagramers LONDON

Founded on 24 March 2011, Instagramers London forms part of the global Instagramers.com network of mobile photography communities using the Instagram app. We plan meetups and organise events, providing the London mobile photography community with opportunities to meet each other and take and share great photographs.

iconiclondon2012: Next in line for a feature for the @iLondon2012 exhibit is @emma_photo http://iconiclondon2012.com/ #ilondon2012 @emma_photo first fell in love with photography when she was given a 35mm SLR at 17 and later studied print making and photography at art college. Emma says: “After joining Instagram 18 months ago it re-ignighted my passion for photography. Always having my iPhone4 with me along with a stunning array of editing apps at my finger tips allows me to get creative on a daily basis and view beautiful images by others” Shooting mainly landscapes and city architecture on Instagram, Emma’s favourite photographers include Robert Frank, Garry Winogrand, Horst Hamann & Anton Corbijn. She draws on their simplicity and dark mono tones in her own work. Emma also uses an Olympus OM-D micro four thirds camera for food and live music photography.
