Founded on 24 March 2011, Instagramers London forms part of the global Instagramers.com network of mobile photography communities using the Instagram app. We plan meetups and organise events, providing the London mobile photography community with opportunities to meet each other and take and share great photographs.

iconiclondon2012: Next up to be featured at @iLondon2012 exhibit is @mahadewa http://iconiclondon2012.com/ #ilondon2012 @mahadewa has been interested in photography since he was 12, when he borrowed his dad’s old SLR to take photos of a local street celebration. But he somehow lost interest a few years back, with his EOS 5 gathering dust in a corner. Chris says: “I rediscovered my passion with photography through a different medium, I fell in love with iphoneography! With all its limitation, compared to a full-fledged DSLR, an iphone can take surprisingly very good photos. That and its obvious ubiquitousness really makes it the best camera that’s always with me. I love the fact I am able to catch the moment around me whenever I want - whereever I want. Catching the moment is my preferred photography genre, it is the reason why I am attracted to capturing my city and its urban/street sceneries.
