Founded on 24 March 2011, Instagramers London forms part of the global Instagramers.com network of mobile photography communities using the Instagram app. We plan meetups and organise events, providing the London mobile photography community with opportunities to meet each other and take and share great photographs.

Welcome to our Iconic London 2012 Instagram challenge for October. Share with us your best images of iconic London with the theme of Streets of London The challenge will run for 12 days until midnight GMT on 23rd October 2012. We will select 12 of our favourite images and share them on this feed, and give you a shout out. Our overall favourite winning image will receive a gift voucher to the value of £50 from @photoboxuk, Europe’s leading online photo printing and gift service. In addition to this awesome prize for the winner, all 12 finalists will have their work exhibited at our Iconic London 2012 event in December. Follow @iLondon2012 for details. Please tag your images #iconiclondon2012oct. We look forward to seeing the creativity that London has to offer and you can enter as many images as you like, old and new. Although London themed, this challenge is open to Instagramers worldwide.
