We are sad to report that a rogue redirect virus has over the past few days affected the performance of our web site. However, with big thanks to the eagle-eyed Simon at Freud Communications the source has been identified. And being the knight in shining armour he is, he also went the extra mile by sending us information about it, as well as pointing us to a fix. So, thanks to him, the rogue code has now been eradicated.
If you were affected by this please accept our sincere apologies and hopefully your own virus checking software ensured your system was kept safe from harm.
For those of you with an interest in these things, the culprit was an iFrame virus that had attached itself to the Badgeplz widget we used to have on the sidebar that displayed our latest Instagram images and stats. It caused the open browser page to be redirected to a bogus web site. That has now been removed and normality has returned to Instagramers London HQ!
