Founded on 24 March 2011, Instagramers London forms part of the global Instagramers.com network of mobile photography communities using the Instagram app. We plan meetups and organise events, providing the London mobile photography community with opportunities to meet each other and take and share great photographs.

Blimey, over 400 images submitted in the 1st day! What a start and thank you so much to everyone who has posted a shot so far. One of our favourites is this classic London image of a commuter on his Brompton by @fiireman. While we all love the tube, bred buses and taxis - bikes are becoming more and more common on our London streets. Check out @fiireman’s feed & his other great London shots . Keep the submissions coming, using the hashtag #iconiclondon2012sept and we will look at them all again and highlight another one of our favourites soon. Out of the 12 we highlight one of those will be chosen as our overall winner and will receive those two fabulous bamboo Boo Box 4 from @hatchcraft (Taken with Instagram)
