It’s here! It’s finally here! Since 5 July 2005 when London was awarded the Olympic Games over 7 years ago, London and Londoners have been looking ahead to this day. It might cause some disruption and frustration for Londoners trying to go about their ordinary lives, but for those of us who think London is the best city in the world this is what we have been waiting for. We welcome visitors from over 200 nations, and look forward to seeing the best sportsmen and women in the world performing between now and 9th september when the London Paralympics games end, starting with the opening ceremony this evening from 9pm.
